Bathroom in an apartment

Renting an apartment in Phuket means choosing dates and a category, agreeing terms with a management company or agency, paying a prepayment, and then paying a refundable deposit on arrival. At Phuket Real 24 that means 14 apartments in the Mida Grande Resort complex on Surin: prepayment from 10% of the booking total, and a check-in deposit of 5,000 or 10,000 THB depending on category.

The steps of renting an apartment

  1. Choose dates and category. Apartments range from 40 to 69 m², with one or two bedrooms, and either a pool or a sea view.
  2. Send an inquiry to the management company. State your dates, number of guests, and preferred category, and get back availability and the exact total.
  3. Pay the prepayment. This secures the booking — without it, dates aren’t held.
  4. Get confirmation. You receive the exact address, apartment number, and check-in instructions.
  5. Check in and pay the deposit. The refundable deposit is paid on site; check-in is from 14:30.
  6. Stay and extra costs. Utilities and cleaning (if requested) are billed separately, as used.
  7. Check out and get the deposit back. Check-out is by 11:00; the deposit is refunded if there’s no damage.

How much to pay before and after arrival

Prepayment is 10% of the booking total, rising to 50% in high season (20 Dec – 10 Mar). The refundable check-in deposit is 5,000 THB for a 1-bedroom apartment and 10,000 THB for a 2-bedroom one, returned at check-out.

Stays of 10+ nights get a 5% discount, 14+ nights get 10%, 22+ get 15%, and 28+ get 25%; stays of 30 nights or more switch to the monthly rate instead of the nightly one. Prices start from 990 THB per night and 22,500 THB per month — the exact total depends on category and season, broken down in Phuket apartment rent 2026: monthly prices by category.

Payment methods

We accept cash in Thai baht, bank transfer of baht to a Thai card, rubles to a Russian card, tenge/EUR/USD to a Kazakhstan card, cash in EUR and USD, and USDT. For guests from Russia and Kazakhstan this usually removes the main concern around international transfers.

What to check before you pay

  • Distance to the beach, as a number, not “nearby.” Ours is about 750 m from Surin Beach, a 12–15 minute walk.
  • Whether utilities are included: ours aren’t — they’re metered, roughly 80 THB a day for a 1-bedroom and 120 THB for a 2-bedroom.
  • Whether cleaning is included: ours is on request, billed separately.
  • Whether the kitchen and washing machine are real, not a kettle and a hot plate — both matter for longer stays, and both are standard in our apartments.

Which category to choose

A couple, or a couple with a child, fits comfortably into a 1-bedroom apartment — Deluxe Ocean View 40 m² or Deluxe Pool View 40 m². A family or two couples traveling together fit a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom layout, such as Grande Luxury 2 Bedroom 69 m². Browse the full range in the apartments catalog.
