Remote Work From Phuket: How to Set Up Your Daily Life
What you need for remote work from Phuket: dedicated internet in the apartment, an on-site coworking space, a separate room for a home office, and how long to book for — based on Phuket Real 24.

Working remotely from Phuket takes three things: a stable internet connection inside the apartment itself, not a shared Wi-Fi network for the whole building; a place for calls without background noise; and a rental term you won’t need to renew every week. Phuket Real 24 apartments cover this with dedicated 300 Mbps internet, a coworking space on the grounds of the Mida Grande Resort complex, and rental formats from a month to a year.
What kind of internet do you actually need
What matters is not whether there’s Wi-Fi, but whether it’s dedicated or shared. “There’s internet” in a listing can mean one channel for the entire building, which may not hold a video call in the evening when everyone is streaming at once. Every one of our apartments has dedicated 300 Mbps internet, regardless of category or floor.
Where to work if you don’t want to sit in the apartment all day
Even with good internet at home, sometimes you need a change of scenery: a call your partner or child shouldn’t walk into, or just a workday you’d rather not spend in the bedroom. The complex grounds include a library-coworking space — somewhere separate from the apartment you can go with a laptop. For everything else included in the complex infrastructure, see Mida Grande Resort in Surin: what’s inside.
Do you need a separate room for an office
If you’re on your own or as a couple with only one person working, a one-bedroom apartment is usually enough: the living room is free during the day while the other person rests or is at the pool. If both of you work remotely, or calls overlap, a separate room makes more sense — look at Family 2 Bedroom 54 m² or Grande Luxury 2 Bedroom 69 m². For a full breakdown of when one bedroom is enough and when you need two, see an apartment for two in Phuket: how much space do you need.
How long should you book for
Working while travelling usually means a month or longer, not two weeks. A monthly booking on the seasonal rate grid works fine for a one- to two-month stay, but for a longer term, especially one that overlaps with high season, a fixed contract is usually cheaper: the rate doesn’t change within the period, unlike the monthly rate, which is noticeably higher in winter than in summer. For the full breakdown of formats and prices by category, see long-term apartment rental in Phuket: what to check.
What else affects your daily routine
Utilities on a long stay are billed separately from the rent, based on meter readings rather than a flat amount included in the price. Cleaning isn’t included by default either and is booked separately. These and other practical questions worth settling before a long stay are covered in wintering in Phuket: how to choose an apartment for a month or longer.
One more thing worth planning for: Phuket runs on a time zone that doesn’t match the one most clients and colleagues in Russia, Europe, or Kazakhstan are on, and the gap shows up when scheduling calls. It’s simpler to set meeting times in the other person’s time zone from the start rather than recalculating it every time.
