Mida Grande Resort is a residential complex in Surin, Phuket, rated as a 4+/5-star apartment resort, where Phuket Real 24 manages 14 apartments (10 of them our own). The complex has 6 pools, a restaurant, a Starbucks cafe, two gyms, two kids’ play rooms and a coworking space; the apartments range from 40 to 69 m², each with a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. The complex is about 750 m from Surin Beach.
What Mida Grande Resort is
It is not a hotel but a residential complex with privately owned apartments, some of which are rented out through management companies. Phuket Real 24 is one of them: we do not own the Mida brand and are not the complex administration — we manage specific apartments inside it. The buildings are 1 to 8 storeys, and the apartments we manage range from 40 to 69 m².
What the complex infrastructure includes
Guests have access to the whole complex infrastructure except reception:
- 6 pools — 4 rooftop and 2 with bars;
- a restaurant;
- a Starbucks cafe;
- a rooftop cafe;
- 2 gyms;
- 2 kids’ play rooms;
- 2 covered garages and parking by the buildings;
- a coworking library;
- a garden lounge.
That set covers different scenarios without leaving the complex: a rooftop pool in the evening, a gym in the morning, the coworking space for remote work, a kids’ room if you are travelling with a child. More on what that means for a trip with children — in our article on Phuket with kids.
How the apartments themselves are set up
Regardless of category, every apartment has:
- a fully equipped kitchen;
- a washing machine;
- dedicated internet at 300 Mbps;
- a TV with channels from more than 100 countries.
The difference between categories is area, number of bedrooms and view. For one or two guests — the 40 m² Deluxe Pool View or 40 m² Deluxe Ocean View studios; for a family — a two-bedroom apartment such as the 54 m² Family 2 Bedroom or the panoramic 69 m² Grande Luxury 2 Bedroom. The complex sits in Surin, right by the border with Bang Tao:

Who manages the apartments
Different companies rent out apartments within the same complex — each with its own set of units, prices and terms. Phuket Real 24 is directly responsible for our own 14 apartments: from booking and check-in to cleaning and service during the stay, with no intermediaries.
