Phuket for 2 weeks: where to stay and what to see
Planning a 2-week trip to Phuket: what discount applies to a 14-night stay, whether you need to book early, and which west-coast beaches you can cover from one base.
Two weeks on Phuket means 14 nights, which already qualifies for a length-of-stay discount and is still short of a full month, so you skip the monthly rate math entirely. A place with a kitchen and washing machine on the west coast lets you day-trip to nearby beaches without changing accommodation.
How much does housing cost on Phuket for 2 weeks
A 14-night stay gets a 10% discount off the daily rate — part of a single scale: 5% from 10 nights, 10% from 14, 15% from 22, 25% from 28 nights and longer. Do you need to book a 2-week stay in advance
Most of the year the minimum stay is 3 nights, so a 14-night stay never runs into that limit. The exception is 24 December – 10 March: the minimum stay rises to 7 nights and the prepayment goes from the usual 10% up to 50% of the booking total. Book those dates early; the rest of the year you can decide closer to your trip.
Which season is better for a 2-week trip
High season runs 20 September – 19 May: calmer sea on the west coast and little rain, but higher prices — see the month-by-month breakdown in Phuket high season by month. Which beaches to see in 2 weeks
Staying on the border between Surin and Bang Tao puts the whole nearby west coast within reach over two weeks: Bang Tao Beach is 712 m from the complex, Surin Beach 769 m, Pansea Beach 912 m, and Kamala Beach 1.7 km. Where to stay to avoid wasting time on transfers
Apartments at the Mida Grande Resort complex, on the border of Surin and Bang Tao, come with a kitchen, washing machine, dedicated 300 Mbps internet, and access to the complex’s infrastructure: six pools, two gyms, a library and co-working space. Over two weeks that removes some of the daily chores — no eating out every meal, no hunting for a laundromat.
