Early Check-In and Late Check-Out in Phuket: How to Arrange It

Early check-in and late check-out are possible on request and usually come with a surcharge — there is no fixed figure in the general price list, because both the amount and whether it’s possible at all depend on whether that specific apartment is free the day before or after your stay.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times

Check-in is from 2:30 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. This applies to every apartment category in the Mida Grande Resort complex and doesn’t change by season. Before check-in time, the apartment is either still occupied by the previous guests or being prepared: cleaned and checked after their departure.

Can you check in before 2:30 PM

Yes, but not automatically. Early check-in is arranged on request and usually comes with a surcharge — the exact amount is calculated for your specific booking, since it depends on how many hours earlier you want to arrive and whether the apartment is free at that time. If the previous booking ends right before yours, the apartment needs time to be cleaned, and early check-in may simply not be possible, regardless of surcharge.

Can you check out after 11:00 AM

Same logic applies: late check-out is discussed individually and depends on whether new guests are arriving at that same apartment that day. If the next booking starts a day or two later, staying a few extra hours is usually not a problem. If new guests are checking in at the standard 2:30 PM that same day, late check-out may not be available at all.

What determines whether a deviation from standard times is approved

The main factor is the occupancy of that specific apartment before and after your stay, not a blanket rule for the whole complex. So:

How to arrange it in advance

If your flight lands in the morning rather than at 2:30 PM, or your return flight is late at night after the standard check-out time, ask in advance rather than on the day of arrival. The earlier you write, the better the chance that specific apartment has a time buffer that day.
